More Internships:
First, we are looking to hire enthusiastic, motivated and well-connected students to help promote the Kaplan products and brand on campus. Now that sounds pretty standard, but we are definitely looking for creative and enthusiastic candidates and would love students to take on a good deal of responsibility to help generate interest with whatever crazy/fun/exciting new ideas they have to bring to the job!
The position is part-time, flexible and paid (from 8-12, but generally 10+ per hour). The job entails participating in standard marketing activities such as lead-generating, event-promotion, and flier/collateral posting, but since I expect many members of the American Marketing Association have specific interests, I would definitely be willing to work on special projects and opportunities. Basically, it would be a great experience and fabulous resume-builder. Kaplan also offers part-time benefits and some pretty decent perks since it's a large, established company. One such perks is that campus representatives can earn a free test prep course (GMAT/GRE/LSAT/MCAT/etc.) after working for a couple semesters.
In addition, I wanted to let you know that Kaplan has a large number of resources and free events which we could run for your club, including free practice tests, free GMAT/GRE sample classes, and Graduate Admissions Insiders seminars, just to name a few.
Finally, Kaplan has some fabulous fund-raising opportunities that could help you meet your fundraising goals. One such opportunity revolves around our free practice test event, which we hold every semester. We partner with clubs and pre-professional organizations to help promote these events. For each person you enroll in the practice test, you receive $1, regardless of whether or not they show up to the event or not. If they DO show up, you receive an extra $5 per person. We have an online form, so many clubs find it easiest to just email out the link and see the money rolling in.
